The Story Behind the Canvas:
A mature forest path in late October becomes a grand canopy tunnel, holding the last spectacular burst of color before the winter sets in. As both a painter and a classical pianist, I see this dramatic archway as a complete visual symphony—where the dark, structural trunks act as a deep bassline supporting the brilliant, fiery movements of red and gold above. Symphony of Autumn is a translation of that rich, resonant energy, guiding the eye down a deep, low-lit trail toward a distant pocket of cool, breaking light.

Artisan Details & Texture:
This large-scale studio work features a heavy, multi-layered texture. The deep purple and midnight tones of the flanking tree trunks are kept smooth and solid to emphasize their weight. The entire upper canopy and the sun-dappled path are built up with thick impasto paint applied via palette knife, giving the foliage a physical, sculptural presence that changes character throughout the day as your room light shifts.
