The Story Behind the Canvas:
Ascending a path of stone steps carved into a hillside offers a unique perspective on the autumn canopy. As a musician and painter, I view the rhythmic spacing of the steps as a physical meter—a steady tempo guiding the eye upward into a vibrant canopy of gold. Golden Reverie focuses on the warmth and brilliant luminosity of early autumn light filtering through a dense screen of changing leaves, creating an atmosphere that feels entirely suspended in time.

Artisan Details & Texture:
The texture of this piece is defined by thick, confident palette knife marks that construct the heavy foliage above and the scattered leaves crunching underfoot. These deliberate impasto layers stand in beautiful relief against the softer, blended areas of the hillside, establishing a dynamic surface quality that interacts beautifully with natural room lighting.
